TOUR ITINERARIES
IRELAND SOUTH TOUR ITINERARY
Sunday: Arrive Dublin. Short Dublin City tour, Georgian Dublin, tour via Glendalough, the Wicklow Mountains to overnight in Kilkenny.
Monday: Tour Kilkenny City, the Medieval Mile, Kilkenny Castle. On to the Rock of Cashel, Blarney Castle and Gardens, to Kinsale – the Gourmet Capital of Ireland! Night 2 Kinsale.
Tuesday: Walking tour of Kinsale, The 9/11 Memorial Garden, Drombeg Stone Circle, lunch in Glandore. Tour through West Cork with a few stops in lovely villages and historic gems. Night 3 West Cork
Wednesday: Continue through the greatest hidden gems of all which is West Cork! Horse and Carriage ride through Killarney National Park. Night 4 Killarney.
Thursday: The Scenic and hugely historical Ring of Kerry, and Celtic Steps The Show that night, incredible Irish music, dance, and song. Night 5 Killarney.
Friday: Dingle/Slea Head, Kilmalkedar, Annascaul, Listowel, Tralee, cross the Shannon River, Kilrush, overnight Spanish Point, County Clare, night 6.
Saturday: The Cliffs of Moher and The Burren coastal route, Kinvara, Dunguire Castle, to Galway. A night out in Galway! Night 7.
Sunday: Clonmacnoise Monastic Site and/or Sean’s Bar, the oldest pub in Ireland (900 AD) and return to Dublin, or stay in Galway to continue on Northern Tour!
IRELAND NORTH TOUR ITINERARY
Sunday: Arrive or continue from Southern Tour. Lunchtime pick-up and brief introduction to Dublin, and travel via Athlone with a pitstop at Sean's Bar. Overnight Galway, food and fun! Night 1 Galway.
Monday: Tour through Cong to Connemara, Kylemore Abbey and overnight in Westport.
Tuesday: North Mayo coastline to overnight Sligo, or sometimes Donegal, taking in Drumcliffe, Creevykeel Court Tomb, Mullaghmore Coastline.
Wednesday: Glenveagh National Park, and other gems in County Donegal, to overnight in Derry.
Thursday: Derry City Wall tour, to Giant's Causeway, Ballintoy, and more along the Antrim coastline to overnight in Belfast.
Friday: Hop-on/Hop-off Bus in Belfast including entry to The Titanic Experience and any other stops along the way. Overnight Belfast. Hop on / Hop off bus including 2 hours at The Titanic Museum, or other Belfast attractions, night 3 Belfast.
Saturday: Tour down the Ards Peninsula on the eastern side of Strangford Lough, across on the Ferry and through the Mourne Mountains to the Battle of the Boyne Site to overnight in Navan.
Sunday: Newgrange Passage Tomb tour and on to your destination in Dublin, or continue on Ireland South Tour!
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
All will be customised according to visitors wishes, and availability.
You will strengthen your grá (love) of Ireland, absorb so much history, experience the rich culture, enjoy so many special moments and lots of incredible scenery. We travel many routes in our small luxury coach that others will never see!
Lots of added extras according to guests wishes, like Horse and Carriage Ride through Killarney National Park, Sheepdog demonstration, Cookery demonstrations, boat rides, surfing, swimming, farm visits, finding ancestors, food markets, formal garden visits, ancient stone forts, film locations, and lots more!
Cost is €250 per person per day including 4* or very good 3* accommodation and breakfast, some evening meals, entry fees to everything, and guided transport with Driver and Fáilte Ireland qualified Guide. Single supplement €50 per day.
Normally about 10 to 12 people on each tour.
