Arrive in Rome, book in to your hotel and then relax! Take some time to do a little exploring, maybe explore the Piazzas and enjoy a gelato. Overnight in Rome.

Apr 12th

Today we will do some touring of Rome (comfortable shoes essential) as a group: Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Campo de’Fiori market for lunch, Via dei Coronari, Castel Sant’Angelo, St. Peter’s Square & Basilica, and ending at Spanish Steps for sunset. Overnight in Rome.

Apr 13th

High speed train to Florence. Spend the day exploring Florence: Medici Chapels, San Lorenzo Basilica and Market, Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Accademia Gallery (Michelangelo’s David), Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza Santa Croce. Overnight in Florence.

Apr 14th

Pisa: Piazza dei Miracoli (Cathedral and Leaning Tower), historic quarter, Church of San Sisto and Piazza dei Cavalieri. Overnight in Florence.

Apr 15th

Chianti Wine region: rustic Wine Estate cellar tour and wine tasting paired with regional products, olive oils, and Balsamic vinegars. Overnight in Florence.

Apr 16th

Cinque Terre Coast: 5 colorful seaside towns on the Italian Riviera, boat ride, delicious seafood, and swim in the Mediterranean Sea. Overnight in Florence.

Apr 17th

Last day in Florence: explore architecture, galleries and shops, or pasta and gelato making class with a professional chef. Overnight in Florence.

Apr 18th

Return to Rome by train.
